They have gluten free options and even ask if its a preference or if its an allergy! Very cool in my book for them to check. Pulled the menu up online and we did a call ahead and put in the order. It was going to be only 5 minutes to make our order! Wow.. I actually asked her to push it back a little so we could rush over and get it. Walked right in and it was ready! Grabbed our food and out the door. Everything was delicious and they were helpful. I hope they are all this nice.

I am a regular visitor to Noodles & Company. I visit because it is fast and they have a variety of noodle dishes from around the world. That being said, while everything I've had has been above average, nothing has knocked my socks off. The ingredients seem pretty fresh and the service has always been OK. I just haven't found the "one dish" that they excel at. I'll keep coming and maybe one day I'll find it...

First time here and it was awesome! I got the Japanese pan noodles with no meat and it was still good! I also got the Thai hot pot and it was awesome along with the flat bread they include too! Now I know why they are always packed on weekends. I decided to dine in since it wasn't busy during lunch time on a Thursday.

Walked in and was greeted immediately. Ordered a tasty thai peanut dish and a small cup of soup for $5.50. Prepared quickly and great care was taken with my carryout order. The soup was wrapped in plastic wrap to avoid leakage and enough napkins were provided as well. The dish itself featured a generous amount of carrots and broccoli. For persons visiting inside the mall this restaurant is down a seemingly abandoned wing near von maur with the only other business being a lenscrafters.

Solid Pad Thai, good flavor and good prices. Oh, and if you need a sweet fix the Rice Crispie treats are made there each day and are yummy. If you want a cookie the Snickerdoodle is significantly more tasty than the Chocolate Chip cookies.

This is a Noodles & Company location inside of the Valley West Mall. Unlike most mall locations, this one can be accessed from either INSIDE or OUTSIDE of the building. They have their own bathrooms, so you don't have to hunt inside the restaurant to use the bathroom. They also have an outdoor seating and eating area for when Iowa isn't insanely frigid outside. This location seems larger than most Noodles & Company locations that I've patronized. They have a wide variety of seating, and it was nice and calm when I went during the day on a Wednesday. They have counters with bar stools, tables with 2 and 4 chairs, and booths that can seat 4-6 people (depending on how squished in you want to be). All of the seating was pretty clean, and I didn't notice a ton of extra dirty dishes sitting around on tables or anything. The staff was really nice. They took my order promptly, and there was no waiting in line. He knew exactly how to put it into their register (some have problems with my customization request), and he was very friendly while doing so. The other employee that served my food was even happy to give me some suggestions on trying to find some Radioshack stores in the area. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I got my usual Wisconsin Mac & Cheese with absolutely no problems. It tasted pretty delicious, and it's on-par with the quality and taste that I've come to expect from Noodles & Company. Very warm, and it was served before I'd even had a chance to sit down and send a single text message. It was very, very fast. Final Thoughts: This is a great Noodles & Company location. I'm unsure how busy or crowded it may get with lingering teens in the evenings, but during the daytime, it was a pleasant surprise to be able to get my shopping done and get lunch all in the same building. The staff was friendly, and it was a very nice visit.

We decided to find a noodle place nearby our hotel & this sounded yummy. The menu was really easy to help you decide on a pre made dish or build your pasta. I ordered beef stroganoff, my dad ordered the spaghetti & meatballs & my mom ordered the shrimp pad thai. We all ordered side caesar salads (only $1) & an order of garlic bread. Service was great, food came out quickly & piping hot. I loved my stroganoff the steak pieces were really tender & flavorful, it was pretty rich so I would stick with the small portion. My mom did not care for the pad thai at all, she said it was way too sweet. Spaghetti was great but my absolute favorite was the garlic toast. Seriously the most amazing I've ever had! I REALLY wish there was one of these by me in AZ!

I walk the mall mile so stop for a light lunch with a glass of white wine...usually. Today a manager asked for my ID to order an adult beverage. I am way over the age of consent I was surprised by this request. The manager was not wearing his name tag...ironic...don't have a clue who this person was who needed to know who I was! I don't carry a handbag when I mall walk I had only my credit card He passed me with a condescending tone and a lecture about having an ID. I have never seen this person before and never will again. Everything else was fine with one person apologizing and service was friendly. This man apparently has no business education as he violated my privacy...over a meaningless policy that isn't usually required.

I believe that noodles are essential for our well-being, so my standards are high*. Too high, I suspect. So I was really pleasantly surprised by my first visit to the West Des Moines Noodles & Company. My wife and I had dinner there during their training week and found the food fresh, well-prepared, the noodles perfectly al dente, and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. The flow of traffic was constant, leading me to believe that this crew were ready when the doors opened to the general public. N&C's menu is a blend of Asian, Mediterranean, and American comfort foods and structured to accommodate vegetarians and omnivores alike and offers something better than the typical food court fare. Noodles & Company is located in the north end of Valley West Mall (upper level, west side, around the corner from Von Maur). * I blame/thank Rich G. and Ellie G. for this, for the record.

Pretty decent place, good location, nice clean place. Quite a few options on the menu that appear to mostly health wise (not great). They have more than noodles, they also have salads and sandwiches.

Good, inexpensive and healthy. Yumyumyum. I had the Pad Thai. Hubby had the buttered noodles. Both were fresh and tasty. We love that the food is inexpensive and fresh.

I visited Noodles & Company the 2nd week it had been open. I had dined at one in Chicago and loved it, so I had high expectations. The restaurant was super crowded, and it was impossible to find a seat. I had creamy mac and cheese with chicken, and it had very little sauce on it. Not overly impressed with this location, but it might have been opening jitters.

Very tasty and very good service. Small amount of spacing for people to sit. Great place to suggest to others.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
